Event Photography – The Derbyshire Singers @ Derby Cathedral – Photographer Simon Dewey

Recently I had the pleasure of photographing the Derbyshire Singers live in concert at Derbyshire Cathedral. This was a different photography assignment for me – the brief was to capture some pictures live in concert for the Derbyshire Singers’ website. .Although I’m used to low light situations, the lighting in the cathedral was quite dramatic and I didn’t use flash so as not to disturb the choir from their music.

It was a great night, with beautiful music emanating from Derby Cathedral all night.
